About the role

DRIVE Physiotherapy and Sports Performance is seeking a doctorate-level Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Ann Arbor. This is a hands-on clinical role with a strong focus on baseball and overhead athlete rehab and performance. You will work with athletes of all levels, from youth players to competitive adults, delivering individualized, evidence-based care in an environment that values quality over volume.

Dedicated baseball and softball program

Purpose-built for overhead athletes, with a focus on return-to-sport and performance optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat baseball and overhead athletes across the injury and performance spectrum, including shoulder, elbow, and arm care
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy, movement retraining, BFR, and sports performance principles
  • Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other providers to support athlete development and return-to-sport timelines
  • Conduct biomechanical assessments and contribute to our diagnostics and performance evaluation process
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in alignment with best practices
  • Contribute to patient education and content development as part of the DRIVE brand
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required
  • Active or eligible Michigan PT license
  • Experience working with overhead or baseball athletes strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of arm care programming, pitching biomechanics, or strength and conditioning a strong plus
  • Advanced certifications (OCS, SCS, CSCS, etc.) are a bonus but not required
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and aligned with a culture of continuous improvement
